Terms of Service

By checking the "I agree to Devsonar's Terms of Service" checkbox during registration, all developers are bound by the following terms and conditions:

1. Disclaimer

1.1 Since Devsonar will only be serving as a medium to connect developers to clients, Devsonar will not be responsible for any issues that arise between clients and developers at any moment in time.

2. Web (Application) Developers

2.1 As a freelancer you agree that you can build a website or web application using a content management system or programmatically or using any other available means and that you have completed at least one project for a client or yourself that you will eventually list in your Devsonar portfolio for potential clients to see when they visit your profile page.

3. Android Application Developers

3.1 As a freelancer you agree that you can build an Android application using any of the available means and that you have completed at least one Android project (application) for a client or yourself that you will eventually list in your Devsonar portfolio for potential clients to see when they visit your profile page.

4. iOS Application Developers

4.1 As a freelancer you agree that you can build an iOS application using any of the available means and that you have completed at least one iOS project (application) for a client or yourself that you will eventually list in your Devsonar portfolio for potential clients to see when they visit your profile page.

5. Privacy

5.1. Display of Your Information on Your Profile

5.1.1. Freelancers
5.1.1.1. Devsonar's primary way of making sure developer seekers know as much as they can about you (a developer) is by displaying most of the data we collect using our registration form on his/her profile, as a result you must accept and not object to the fact that your personal information which includes your full name, picture, phone number and address will be displayed publicly on your profile.

5.1.1.2. You also agree that Devsonar will not be responsible for any maluse of any of your personal information (mentioned above) by visitors of your profile, search engine robots or any other entity that is capable of accessing your profile.

5.2.1. Companies
5.2.1.1. Devsonar's primary way of making sure developer seekers know as much as they can about your company is by displaying most of the data we collect using our registration form on your company's profile, as a result your company must accept and not object to the fact that your company information which includes your company name, logo, phone number and business address will be displayed publicly on your profile.

5.2.1.2. You also agree that Devsonar will not be responsible for any maluse of any of your company information (mentioned above) by visitors of your profile, search engine robots or any other entity that is capable of accessing your company's profile.

6. Listing of Projects in Portfolios


6.1. Freelancers
6.1.1. You may only list projects that was contracted to you and done by you alone or with help from another developer (whom in this case is considered your assistant) in your portfolio. As a result, no two developers can list the same project under the same platform's portfolio.

6.1.2. If you once worked for a company that develops Web and/or mobile applications for clients, projects contracted to the company during your time with the company that you worked on or cntributed to in one way or another cannot be listed in your Devsonar portfolio. That privilege belongs to the company the project was awarded to.

6.2. Companies
6.2.1. Companies may only list projects that was contracted to them and done by them in thier Devsonar portfolio.
